Our Blog

Here, we share our thoughts and experiences with the rest of the world.

The Covid-19 pandemic has taken a lot of public attention away from some of humanity's greatest medical challenges.

One of such remains cancer and there are already indications that Covid-related drops in research funding could be as much as 46% in countries like the UK.

It is important that we do not take our eyes off the ball. Research into treatments and ways of managing various forms of cancer have over decades provided relief for many patients.

It is therefore important that research efforts should be sustained despite COVID-19. We do not need to re-adjust our priorities. Funding and attention to cancer research does not need to be sacrificed on the altar of Covid-19. As a matter of fact, it is known that Covid-19 patients suffering from cancer are more likely to succumb to the virus.
