Aisha Abba Abdullahi was born on the 7th of August, 2001. She was from Mubi South LGA, Adamawa state. She was cheerful, loving, patient, and a strong warrior. The smiling face was Aisha's signature, and she showed us that no matter how challenging life can be, we must never give up.

Inspired by the American wrestler Roman Reigns, Aisha battled cancer with a purpose each day; she fought bravely until her demise on day 89. She had just gotten admission into 100 level to study Biotechnology at the Nile University, Abuja, Nigeria when she was diagnosed.

Although she lost her battle to cancer on the 20th of November 2019, we will always remember the light that she radiated so brightly. She proved that it is not how you fight or lose your battle to cancer, but how you lived that matters.

The Aisha Abba Abdullahi Memorial Foundation was established by Aisha's family and loved ones to touch the lives of blood cancer patients across Nigeria as she impacted ours. We are proud to have known and experienced the loving girl that Aisha was.
