At the AAA Memorial Foundation, our main purpose is increasing the life expectancy of people diagnosed with blood cancers in Nigeria. This makes involvement in the conduct of cancer-fighting research a key component of our intervention.

We know what it feels like to cope with the harsh realities that come with living with this disease, we understand the physical and psychological impact Blood Cancer has on those who are affected with this disease and we feel the emotional trauma
loved ones of people with Blood Cancer experience on a daily basis.

We cannot overemphasize the fact that Blood Cancer is society’s problem, therefore, we all need to be proactive and join the fight against Blood Cancer. All of us at the AAA Memorial Foundation have set plans for conducting research on Blood Cancer which will enable us reduce the mortality rate caused by this disease in our country. We do this presently by:

• Organizing free Blood Cancer detection in medical centers around Abuja.
• Providing counseling to people with Blood Cancer on affordable treatment and therapy options.
• Providing counseling on Blood Cancer pain management.
• Providing palliative care to people affected by Blood cancer.
• Conducting research on better treatment options for Blood Cancer.
• Conducting press events, seminars and workshops on Blood Cancer treatment.
