World Blood Donor Day 2022

Over 1.24 million people are diagnosed with blood cancer annually, with approximately 720,000 people dying yearly due to the disease.

It is a time to support patients affected by blood cancer and to aid efforts against the various blood cancers, such as; leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and Hodgkin's disease. Since its inception in the mid-1970s, survival rates have steadily risen due to the actions carried out during the month.
