About Aisha

Aisha Abba Abdullahi was born on the 7th of August, 2001, in Yola North and hails from Mubi South LGA of Adamawa State. From the beginning, she radiated warmth; she was cheerful, loving, patient, and remarkably strong. Her ever-present smile became her signature, reminding everyone around her that no matter how challenging life becomes, there is always a reason to hold on to hope.

When Aisha was diagnosed with blood cancer (Leukemia), she faced it with extraordinary courage. Inspired by her role model, the wrestler Roman Reigns; himself a cancer survivor, she battled with purpose and determination every single day. At just 18, she had been admitted into Nile University, Abuja, to study Biotechnology, full of dreams for the future. Yet, even as her world shifted, Aisha remained steadfast, embodying strength and resilience.

For 8 months, Aisha fought bravely, showing her family, friends, and community what it means to live with dignity and hope in the face of immense trials. On the 20th of November, 2019, she left this world, but not without leaving behind a legacy of light. Her life was a testimony that what truly matters is not only how long we live or the battles we face, but how much love, courage, and inspiration we bring into the lives of others.

To honor her memory, Aisha’s family and loved ones established the Aisha Abba Abdullahi Memorial Foundation (3AM Foundation). Through this foundation, Aisha’s spirit continues to touch lives across Nigeria, offering support, hope, and advocacy for blood cancer patients and their families.

Her story reminds us all: Even in struggle, we can shine. Even in pain, we can inspire. And even in loss, love lives on.
